Apparel manufacturer AFTCO announced six new signees to its pro staff for 2021 – Bassmaster Classic champions Hank Cherry and Jay Yelas, 2020 Elite Series winner Frank Talley, Elite Series rookies Bryan New and Marc Frazier and Elite Series emcee Dave Mercer.
“We’re excited to once again be kicking off the season as the title sponsor for the Bassmaster Elite Series at St. Johns River in Palatka, Florida and are extremely humbled to have partnered with some great personalities and anglers for 2021," said AFTCO president Casey Shedd. "Amidst the chaos and disruption we have all endured in 2020, we’re proud as ever to remain stable and family-owned with a laser focus on bringing the best fishing clothing for anglers."
Entering only its fourth full year in the freshwater market, AFTCO continues to build a strong following with anglers and fans at all levels of competition and recreation, on and off the water. Over 20 percent of the Elite Series field will be wearing AFTCO products during the 2021 tournament season.
