Combs to discuss crankbaits for fall

Shimano School returns 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday (Oct. 26) as Bassmaster Elite Series veteran Keith Combs discusses fall crankbait fishing with host JP DeRose in an event that will be live-streamed on the Shimano Facebook page and the Shimano North America YouTube Channel.

Combs will describe some of his most productive tactics and critical pieces of equipment for chasing fall bass with crankbaits.

“Color, action, deflection – these are just a few of the issues that bass anglers need to consider when fishing with crankbaits, especially in the fall,” said Combs. “Successful cranking also means using the right tackle, from rod to reel and line. I’ll also cover tackle and equipment selection during this Shimano School, with an emphasis on how I use the new Shimano Zodias glass crankbait rods to put more fish in the boat.”

Viewers are invited to post questions to the Facebook and YouTube livestreams.
